Feather boards are a great tool for holding your stock and preventing kickback, but they do have their limitations. Now there is an option with no limitations. Introducing our Jessem's Clear-Cut Stock Guide (04215). The unique guide rollers on the stock guides are mounted on a 5 degree angle effectively steering your stock toward the fence. Your stock is pulled tightly to the fence and the grip force of the urethane rollers holds it securely in position. With the stock being guided at a slight angle toward the fence it is critical they not rotate in the outfeed direction, especially if you are cutting a dado or other machining with the board. This would feed the stock unwanted into the cutter, To prevent this and any kick back each roller is fitted with a one way needle roller bearing. This ensure each rollers spins in the direction of feed. With Jessem's Clear-Cut TS Stock Guides set up is fast and easy. They are locked in their position along the fence with a single twist of the pivot knob and the height setting is controlled with the tightening of the clamping knobs to accept a 1/4" hex key so you can tighten them even more for added security that they won't lose their setting. When not use they just pivot of the way. With Jessem's Clear-Cut TS Stock Guides no need to struggle holding long boards tight to your fence as you try to feed it trough your router bit, The guides pull your stock securely in position, no need for a second set of feather boards. Just feed your work into the stock guides and they pull your stock into the fence while you hold into the other hand. You can have complete control of your stock even when routing wide boards or large panels, the dual action of the guides will pull your work tight to the fence. You will achieve safer, smoother, and more precise cuts as your work is always held in position. Clear-Cut TS Stock Guides mount to as standard 1/4" T-Slot found on most commercially available router table fences. An accessory mounting plate is available for shop made router table fences. The guides have 2-3/4" of total adjustment and maximum stock thickness is from the surface of your table to 9/16" below the center of the mounting T-Slot. Clear-Cut TS Stock Guides are CNC machined from solid aluminum and anodized for appearance and durability. The roller axles are CNC machined from cold rolled steel and case hardened for durability. The adjustment knobs are machined from stainless steel for longevity. The rollers are CNC machined from wear resistant acetol resin which also has a low coefficient of friction and the traction tires are molded out of urethane for long life and superior grip on your stock
