With the SG-WP Woodpechers gauge you will have a perfect cut on a table saw, the saw blade and the tear fence must be died parallel to the left miter gauge slit. The most reliable and precise way to do it is with an indicator and a dial tool that goes up perfectly from top to the miter slit. The peak of the gauge is designed to satisfy this need expertly.
